The Buzzcatz Contract Rider
Here is a copy of our Rider that will accompany our performance contract.
Entertainment Contract Rider /Attachment:
Excused Non-Performance: The Artists shall not be liable to the purchaser for any failure, delay or interruption in the performance or any of the terms and conditions of this contract due to causes beyond our control that make the performance of this agreement either illegal, impossible or commercially impracticable, such as, but not limited to: Acts of God, war, government regulation, disaster or other casualty, acts and/or threats of terrorism, death, illness, or other events beyond the Artist’s control to hold the event. The Artists may terminate their obligations under this agreement if such obligations are delayed or prevented by any of the above occurrences to the extent such incidents are beyond the Artist’s reasonable control. In the event of a cancellation, the Artists will make every effort to find a comparable replacement to fulfill the engagement.
Power: The Purchaser will provide a power drop from the venue with six (6) dedicated/separated 20-amp services run to the stage/playing area.
Stage: The Purchaser will provide staging or playing area of at least 24 ft. wide x12 ft. deep.
Dressing Room / Green Room: The Purchaser will provide a separate greenroom/dressing room for 12 band members.
Meals & Beverages: The Purchaser will provide ice, cups, soft drinks, and coffee in the green room upon the crew’s arrival. Catering & meals for 10 performers + 2 crew members will be provided at 6:00pm or at the end of the band’s first set at approximately 8:00pm, whichever works best for the caterer.
Load in/out: The Artists will be set up at least thirty minutes prior to the guests arrival; unless otherwise arrange
for by the purchaser. The stage will be accessible by carts with elevator access - no stairs.
The stage will be clear of any decorations, podiums, and props and in ready for set up two hours prior to doors opening for setup. The stage and load out area will remain lighted by the venue for at least 1 hour following the end of the performance while The Artists load out.
